Logitech Webcam The C910 HD Pro ($ 100, due in August) stands out among the growing crowd of Webcams HD.
The most advanced of the latest models from Logitech, this camera shoots in Full HD 1080p and snap 10-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The C910 is long, flat and rectangular, measuring just a little less than an inch deep. It fits within the top or side of your monitor, and stay in place very well connected to the adjustable arm.
Setup is simple: If you already have video conferencing software on your PC (like Skype or Logitech Vid), you just plug the camera through its USB cable connected, and ready to go. Although the camera was designed as a counterpart to the new services Vid HD Logitech is also certified by Skype and it works wonderfully with this software.
Download Vid HD is the longest part of the installation, but once installed the program is actually much more intuitive to use is Skype. Just snap a picture of yourself, find friends, and start the chat by clicking on the icon of the portrait of the person you would like to talk to. The interface provides large video boxes makes Skype, which lets you see your chat partner better. I have not experienced a dropped call with Vid HD, but of course it all has to do with the connection to the Internet (my conversations with friends in the Bay of San Francisco and San Diego had a much better quality than my talk with a friend a remote part of southern Africa).

Other requirements for the camera include 2 GB of RAM, 200 MB hard disk space and 1280-by-720 screen resolution.
